  3. If your registration does not show up by mid-October, register again online at pa before the Oct 21 deadline.
Before October 7th:
  1. Request paper forms online.
  2. Our volunteers will mail you your form and a stamped addressed envelope to send along with tips on filling out the form
  3. Mail the form in the stamped addressed envelope no later than Monday Oct 14 2024
After October 7th:

    • If you live on campus, your polling place is THE KIRBY SPORTS CENTER

(700 W. Pierce Street, enter at corner of W. Monroe & Pierce)

  1. Vote on Election Day
    • Voter ID

Make sure you bring your College ID with you the first time you vote.

  • Vote Early in the Day

The polls are open from 7 am to 8 pm. Prepare to arrive as early in the day as possible and be prepared to wait in line during busy times. 

If you are in line when the polls close, stay in line. Anyone in line must be allowed to vote by law.

Vote by Mail

  1. Confirm active registration at the correct address at pa/check.
  2. Request mail ballot at pa before Tuesday Oct 15, 2024.
  3. Your ballot will arrive at your mailing address so check your box frequently and fill it out as soon as it arrives.
  4. Put your voted ballot inside the yellow secrecy envelope.
  5. Put the sealed yellow secrecy envelope inside the outer return envelope.
  6. Sign and date the Declaration on outer return envelope.
  7. Mail your ballot by Tue October 22.
After October 22, take your mail-in ballot to the county Board of Elections office in person. Your ballot must be received by November 5, 2024 at 8:00 pm in order to be counted.

Vote in Person at  Northampton County Board of Elections

  1. Visit the Board of Elections office during Early Voting sometime in October before Friday, Oct 29, 2024 to get personal voting ballot and vote at the same time. Call first to make sure the ballots are ready.If you visit before Monday Oct 21, 2024, you can register to vote, get your personal ballot and cast your vote early all in a single visit.
  2. Fill out your ballot in person at the elections office.
  3. Put your voted ballot inside the yellow secrecy envelope.
  4. Put the sealed yellow secrecy envelope inside the outer return envelope.
  5. Sign and date the Declaration on outer return envelope.
  6. Hand the ballot to an elections official.
